no artist or song titiles for the highway and viva on the siriusxm app

i want to let you know that there are no song or artist titles on the siriusxm music app on the hopper on the highway and the viva music channels please if someone from DIRT please check into i sure appreciate it very much.

That happens sometimes. DIRT can't help you with it. It's a problem with the data Siriusxm sends out. It happens on my car radio too.

I had a rental car for about a month. The radio itself was apparently not capable of displaying anything but S/XM and the channel.

Allen, can you clarify what app exactly is doing this? Is there a Hopper app that receivers SiriusXM over your broadband connection? IF so, that missing info is all on Dish. If you have an app on a mobile phone, and you are trying to stream the music (via bluetooth?) to your car radio, that's a whole 'nother ball of wax.

no i am trying to listen to the highway on the dish hopper using the siriusxm app you can listen to it on there but there is no listing of artists,song title and the album info.it is also the same way on viva also.

OK, so no car radio or mobile app is involved. Boy was I confused!

Is this strictly one channel on the Hopper SiriusXM app (which I didn't know existed) that is failing to show song title? Or is this the collapsed channel 99 to which you refer? Either way, it's all on Dish to fix it.

The Highway is on 099-59 and Viva is on 099-91 and whether you're listening to the "app" or Sirius channels, the information (artist, song titles) is missing or wrong. More than likely a Sirius problem.

It lists all the channels so you do not have to keep channeling up or down to switch to the next SiriusXM station. I personally use it more than the channels.

When you select the channels directly, you get the data. There are bigger fish to fry than to worry about 2 channels that don't seem to work out of nearly 100 in the app....

I tried both the channel and the app yesterday and information was wrong on both. It would seem very important to a guy named bluegras.

On the 612 there is no info for Viva, but there isn't on my actual sat receiver either. (I don't see that channel online)
The Highway is showing correct information on the 612 - but I did have to go up (or I suppose down) a channel then come back for it to show one time. Has been working since then. It is showing the information online and on my sat receiver.

As said before, this and all other indicators point to it being a problem AT Sirius. Dish is just passing along what it gets.
