Any update on the availability of single team subscription for NHL this year? I recall seeing something back in June that this was going to be a possibility
The league is offering it to all carriers but the carriers themselves are not required to offer it. This was the result of a recent lawsuit.
However, even if it is offered, it will be at a mere 20% discount to the whole package and given the price drop of CI to $140 for the season, I see little reason to even think about it.
BTW, I called DTV last week and asked about CI. I got a $10/month credit to offset my subscription so in effect I'm paying $20 for the entire season. Not bad...not bad at all.
I called DTV about CI and they told me to call 1-800-481-7948 and I did and they gave me different options by automated recording by the people who handled the class action lawsuit against DTV and Comcast and they weren't in I left my name what I am calling about and phone number and they would get back to me following business day.So I guess I will hear from them Monday and they will give me my options on CI and they sounded like it would be $106-$132.00 for the next few seasons the way I understood it.
Hmm, I wonder if DirecTV will do the NBALP Per Team, which would be $120, I have it on auto renew, for $200 a season.
Not sure though if 80 bucks is worth it, I do like watching the earlier games when they start around 7PM, my Rockets start at 8PM, so I like to watch other games.
