I just got an e-mail from someone who I have to take care of saying that there is a Dallas game tomorrow on the NFL channel that he wants to watch in his retirement home highrise apartment. I said, "no sweat". What satellite is it on? His MDU presently has satellite "A" only. I could clamp a Sat B dish onto something and drop a wire down to him if I had to, but I hope I don't have to.

He also wants to know how much it costs. All he wants is NFL Foorball and EWTN, so if DirecTV still has the $29.99 package , and if it has EWTN in it, then he'll probably take that plus whatever NFL standard definition programming is available.

The NFL Network is NOT part of the "Sports Package" it is BASIC on D* with TC and up, I do not know about the packages below that level.

NFL Network is on the core sat 101 (so you should not have to do any addl. work) and it is on channel 212.

No he wouldnt! The NFL network is available in the choice package on up

Correct, not available on the "family package" but it is on every one above that.
