According to Elias:

There were 763 points scored in the NFL Sunday, a league record for 1 day. Previous high: 759 points on Jan. 1, 2012

As a byproduct of that: This is the first weekend in NFL history on which five (or more) teams scored 30 or more points and lost.

A lot of crazy stats yesterday, Alex Smith was like 6/6 on passes BEHIND the line of scrimmage... for something like over 200+ yards and 4 TDs.

Having Jamal Charles, and the Raider D on the other side, can lead to huge stats like that.Charles went off.

Watching the simulcast on WXYZ ch 7. Anyone else notice the audio on simulcast sounds better than the main ESPN channel? I'm watching on Directv if that makes any difference.

They went off due to 6 TO. But I get it, it's part of the game. They had 5 drives of less than 50 yards and 3 drives less than 20 yards...made it pretty easy. My Raiders defense was awful. But the only bright side was the fact the Raiders had NO problem scoring on KC, something they should be very concerned with.

Lions getting the shaft on the calls so far.

1. 15 yard drive continuing penalty ... fwiw, it was a Facemask call and he never touched the facemask, got his pads, but no the facemask.
Ends up being 3 point for Ravens.

Now, last drive of the half, again assisted by officials calls, 2 guys back covering the recvr, ball was underthrown and the call a hit to the head as the players are going down .... never hit him in the head ... all three players were going for the ball and they called a Defenseless recvr .

Result, another Lions D stand and Ravens FG ....
Halftime score, Lions 7, Ravens 3, Officials 6

Ravens 9, Lions 7

Yes, but, like the Lions, one is always left wondering how they're going to blow games or, in this case, the season. Tonight the refs are help to architect their doom, and so too is the uncharacteristic pass drops by Johnson while could have been 40-50 yard gainers. Honestly, the team is good enough to be 9-4...if properly coached and properly owned. Have I ever mentioned that the William C. Ford family should be hanged in public for murdering the spirit of Detroiters for the past 50-years?

Anyway, at least they are the most talented 7-6 team in the NFL.

you Lions fans are the only football fans i feel sad for and that's from a Browns fan.

The Lions are continuing to do thier best Browns imitation.

When the Browns were up by a good margin (end of 3rd quarter), my neighbor (Browns fan) said, just wait, they will find a way. (too lose it, and they did)

As heard on ESPN: In last night's game, Justin Tucker became the first kicker to make FGs from 20-something, 30-something, 40-something, 50-something and 60-something yards in a single game.
