NFL 2009-10 Season

So the Browns never signed Dede Dorsey, and instead elevated a TE from the practice squad. They go into their game with the Chargers with just 2 RBs and 1 FB on the roster.

Turns out that signing that no-named walk on TE was indeed the right move. Evan Moore (who?!), went on to lead the team in receptions and yards yesterday for the Browns! Dude caught everything in sight! Dare I say he even showed some chemistry between Quinn and himself?!

I feel like the Bengals are just playing to the competition this year. They should have blown Detroit out.

TOOOOOUUUCCCHHHHHHDDDDDDOOOOOWWWWNNNNNNNN RAAAAIIIIDDDEEEERRSSSSS!!!

WOW!!!

How is THAT for a homecoming for Bruce Gradkowski!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES!!!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!! STOOLS LOOSE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

Oh, guess what Yinzers.... it's Browns/Steelers week! See you Thursday. Sincerely, Mr. Cleveland!!

AFC East with four weeks to go........................

Pats....................7-5
Dolphins..............6-6
Jets......................6-6

Suddenly, it's anyone's division to win (or lose).........................................

Wow. With the Jets and Dolphins win, the East just got A LOT more interesting.

No, that already happened down in South Florida today!!!!

Something that's been happening with regularity this season, on the road, in the second half!!!

Bill, I see your team in a transition period, whether your coach wants to admit it or not. You guys lost a TON of key players in the offseason. Nobody would look down upon your team if they happened to miss out on the playoffs. With that said, it's a testament to your team's mentality and a few key leaders that you are still leading the division. Don't give up yet buddy.

Browns vs. Chargers

A loss is loss, but being how miserable my Browns season has been, I am trying to take something positive out of each game to keep my sanity.

In yesterday's game against the Chargers, the Browns offense looked very good at times. Quinn looks like he's finally settling into the role. For the game, Quinn threw for 271 yards, 3 TD's and 0 INT's! All this without their starting RB, TE and any noteworthy receivers. I think I've seen enough of Quinn to say that we can win with him. The Browns just need to build around him and supply him with more offensive weapons in the upcoming draft/free agency.

As for the game, it was a lot closer than the 30-23 final score. In the first half, our kicker shanked a 40 yard field goal. He should've made that, instead we came away with no points. On a separate drive to begin the 2nd quarter, Quinn drove the team down the field and fumbled on the 3 yard line! That was another possession the Browns should've come away with points.

Oh well. I like the progress I'm seeing with Quinn and this offense. It's a short week this week and anything can happen. We get the Steelers on Thursday night. The Stools are on a 5 game losing streak and with another upset, the Browns could actually eliminate their chances in making the playoffs. A win on Thursday would salvage some of the hardship Browns fans have endured this year.

Go Browns!

The Chargers make no-name tight ends look like All-Pros every week. It's their biggest defensive flaw.

The Patriots have the worst pass rush in the history of the NFL, they make every quarterback that steps on the field against them look like the second coming of Sammy Baugh.

The coach makes dumb decisions, should of went for in 4th and inches on the Dolphins 40 up 14-7 instead dumb-ass Hanson kicks it in the endzone, than at the end of the half you take the field goal and go up 17-7.

Belichick needs to re-thinks these coordinators, Dean Pees and Bill O'Brien are god awful. Bring back Charlie and Romeo.

Are you a Redskins fan? :D

hmmmm....seems like you guys could have USED a Seymour type player...

Actually would take Mike Vrabel back first.

Seymour, ahh maybe, but in '11 when the Patriots are drafting a Mark Ingram type of player I will be forgetting mid-season 2009;)

Mark Ingram isn't going to help their Defense at all.

Monday Morning QB: Week 13 with HD MM

1. What does Dallas have against December? Looks like more coal in the stockings of Cowboy fans.

2. The NFC East is the most unpredictable conference in sports. Just when you got one team figured out, they prove you wrong the following week. What a bunch of Jekyll and Hyde's!

3. Oakland over Pittsburgh? Wow. Speaking of Pitt, what's that, 5 in a row now? From Super Bowl Champs to missing the playoffs. I'd toot my own horn predicting as much, but I'll hold back.... for now. My Browns host the Stools this Thursday night!

4. As much flack as Jim Zorn get's, the 'Skins last two losses weren't his fault. Blame the idiot kicker for the L's, not Zorn.

5. Five consecutive 4th quarter comebacks for Indy, orchestrated by the Football Maestro himself... Peyton Manning. Watching Peyton make in-game adjustments to will his team to victory each week is awe inspiring. Cherish these games folks, because players like Peyton come around once in a lifetime, if that.

6. Drew Brees said postgame that he believes in Karma. And in all the year's of the Saint's failures, maybe this year is the year they start catching some breaks? I think he's on to something.

7. I am now convinced more than ever that Tiger Woods won't be chastised forever. Fans will forgive and forget. It's human nature. Case and point: Atlanta and Michael Vick. Towards the end of the Eagles/Falcons game, Atlanta fans were actually chanting "Go Mike Go".

8. The 38 year old beat the 40 year old in the battle of geriatrics on Sunday Night. But most important, perhaps the Cards set the blueprint on how to beat F* and the Vikes? They held Adrian Peterson in check (13 rushes for 19 yards), while forcing the gun slinger to make plays, which ultimately led to mistakes (2 INT's). Without a running game, Favre just isn't that good.

9. With the Vikings 2 loses, the Saints are now head and shoulders above the rest of the NFC. The Saints have hinted the possibility of defeat on the road this year. At home and in the Superdome though it's another story. If they're able to secure HF advantage throughout the playoffs, lookout!

10. Equally surprising as the Steelers demise this year is the Bengals 9-3 record. At the same time last year, the Bengals had 1 win! What changed between then and now?! What's their secret and can they share the recipe with their inner-state team up North? Please? :D

Are you sure they didn't mean, "Leave Mike Leave!!"

These chants were also apparent according to a Yahoo report....

In the fourth quarter, fans chanted “We want Vick! We want Vick!” Sure enough, Vick came back into the game.

Vick heard the chants and said “it sent chills all down my spine.

“They were just letting me know that people still appreciate what I’ve done.”

I knew the Cowboys would lose when all the guys on the Fox NFL show picked them... I think is like the WWE, Fixed ;)
