NFL 2009-10 Season

I hope for your sanity, the Browns don't lose to the Lions. It won't happen, but just if......:D

Lol. We still have the Lions, Raiders AND Chiefs left. If we lose all three, the Browns will cement their fate for worst team ever. Pay no attention to our 1 win against the Bills either. The only reason we won (in overtime with time expiring) was due to an interception thrown by Trent Edwards. If the Bills don't blow the game, it would've ended in a tie.

Woops. Almost forgot about the Bucs.

After looking at their schedule, the two easiest opponents they have left are Carolina and Seattle, both on the road. If they don't pull of a miracle in either one of those road trips, they may very well flirt with the 0-16 mark.

Excuse me, but this would be the second time they are flirting with going DEFEATED. Lucky for them, the Lions have erased all memory of the first go-round. The Lion's are setting new records of futility as every week passes. God help me.

I am wondering...IF the Raiders would have taken Calvin Johnson INSTEAD of JaMarcus Russell, would the Raiders be better off??

...."shoulda, coulda, woulda....and if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle...."

I question the Browns past draft picks all the time, don't feel bad.

We could've had Adrian Peterson. :(

Not until you go at least 2-29, with a 0-16 season. Sorry, you are not that low, yet. Tampa Bay started their first two seasons 2-26. We have left that in the dust, and are still building on that. You have a long way to go. At least Tampa Bay had an excuse, they were an expansion team. We worked 52 years to get this low.

Not sure what game you were watching, Raiders were awful. Was only close thanks to Charger mistakes, division games are generally close in the AFC West... with the Chargers-Chiefs game a week or two ago one of the few exceptions (30 point win is the largest between the two in 99 meetings). Raiders let the Chargers throw it to Vincent Jackson 4 times in a single drive, only to leave him completely uncovered in the red zone for his 5th catch for the score. They allowed roidman to get his first sack of the season, and then his second and had less than 200 yards of offense for the 5th time in 7 games.

Only reason it didn't look as bad... they rushed it more times than they threw it. JaMarcus had like 4 attempts in the first half. Poor Justin Fargas, probably the best RB on the team finally got his first rushing TD since 2008.

...and then more stuff about their coach hitting people came out.

Rex is an ass, he is hard to root for. When he wins he's never gracious, and when he loses he reminds me of drunken depressed Krusty the Clown after someone pulled a joke over on him and he's all droopy and his eyes get all gaunt.

For similar reasons, I hate Phillip Rivers.

Allowing 2 kicks to be returned for TD's is inexcusable. They should fire their special teams coach. I thought that sort of thing could only happen to the Raiders.
their special teams coach is one of the best for a very long time now. i still hate that idiot dave wanstedd or whatever is freaking name is let go of this guy(mike westhoff). we always had great special teams every year while he was here. cant fire the guy over one game.

Rex Ryan is REALLY annoying...difficult to root for.

What about Bart Scott? Someone should inform him that the Dolphins swept the Jets this year?

Bart Scott on 3-4 Dolphins: 'They're a great team. They'll probably contend for the Super Bowl' - The Huddle: Football News from the NFL - USATODAY.com

"They're a great team. They'll probably contend for the Super Bowl. They have a tremendous offense, great running backs, a great quarterback, a great tight end. They are stacked across the board. I'm serious. They are great.

"Like I said, they have a great team. They have a tremendous offense and they showed it today. They are Super Bowl contenders and they will probably take it all the way."

Tony Dungy to Rex Ryan and Bart Scott

"My mother used to say, 'When you win, say very little. When you lose, say less. Bart Scott said too much today. When a team beats you twice, give them credit and go home...And I have to disagree with Rex Ryan, they didn't outplay Miami. Miami's got three-return touchdowns. That's part of the game. They've got more points than you do."

Rex Ryan is in over his head.
