NFL 2009-10 Season

Chiefs werent expected to amount to a whole lot, expectations were there highest since Willie Roaf unexpectedly retired, but we don't have the offensive line to do a whole lot. Denver was indeed supposed to be a miserable team. I still don't expect them to beat whomever they host for the wild card (Bengals/Steelers/Ravens) and if they make it through them, they don't have the defense to keep the Colts contained.

Them making it far in the playoffs would be more surprising than Arizona's run last year.

Associated Content = a bunch of writers paid to write about stuff... not even a group of bloggers or news organization. If you need to create content on a certain topic, you pay them to do it. Oline has been a problem for years and they completely ignore it in their bid to paint us as the dark horse of the AFC.

Brad Childress dresses in drag?!

From Chris Mortensen's Twitter feed comes this rather odd story about the Vikings head coach.

So coach Brad Childress dressed up like a female flight attendant, high heels, wig, blue hose, wig...and still a beard on the flight.

I'm told Childress had given a little lecture earlier to the team, reminding them to show the utmost respect to all flight attendants.

Adam_Schefter - Tennessee cut P Reggie Hodges and claimed P Brett Kern on waivers from Denver, meaning he went from an unbeaten team to winless team.

As for LJ, i'll say it again: idiot.

That being said, I expect him to just get fined, rather than suspended. Even if he gets suspended, we'll just get one of his backups to run for 2 yards per carry.

With all the roster moves, many thought (including moi) that the Chefs were headed for the Superbowl and Denver would have a losing battle in a toilet bowl. One good thought ---the Chefs still get the Denver Smurfs twice this year.:D

That's right, 2 more wins for Denver!! :up :up

What? You don't think McDaniels has Cassells' number???

Thinking about this a little more, this might be bigger than I was giving it credit for, he's a repeat offender when it comes to personal conduct, and there's reports out there the Chiefs could even cut him by the end of the week.

Them sending him home from practice supports that notion as well, he has no guaranteed money in his contract after an arbitration case ruled in the Chiefs favor last year after he was suspended for conduct. This year he's been a good little soldier as a result, because they could cut him at any time and he's not entitled to the remainder of his guaranteed money.

The Chiefs are expected to release Larry Johnson as early as tomorrow, reportedly just the NFL's investigation into his conduct is the only reason it hasn't happened already.

How the mighty have fallen, especially considering how well he ran just a few years ago- 1750 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2005, 1789 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2006

"The Kansas City Chiefs have suspended RB Larry Johnson for Conduct Detrimental to the Club effective immediately," the team said in a statement. "Johnson will not be permitted to participate in any team activities or be on team premises until Monday, November 9th. The Chiefs will have no further comment on Johnson's status at this time."

That's funny stuff there. That would be great to see the seats empty to start.

I heard about that and actually support it. If anything can influence change, it's messing with the owners wallet and/or embarrassment on national TV.

Put a team on the field we can be proud of and we'll support you till death. The garbage being displayed right now isn't worth the price of admission.

From the way I read it, he wants people to stay out of thier seats for the beginning of the game, he didn't say Don't go to the game.
