I have a Nexus-s hooked up to a Direc*tv channel master dual lnb dish. The antenna is pointing at satellite 119 from directv which to my knowledge is Direc*tv6 and also Echostar 7 (I know because I used the direc*tv receiver to locate it) I have used mytheatre software and tested the signal for both direc*tv6 and echostar 7 (which should be on the 119 W location) and I get no signal. Progdvb won't start the device. I have tried many frequencies and the three types of signals ( c-band, ku-cir, ku-lin)and still i get no signal, no luck, frustration is starting to take place after a week of reading and trying. Any suggestions? Screen Names: mcardo99 (AOL) mcardo99@hotmail(MSN)

P.S Im not looking to hack or steal service. I just started on this, I need to know what to do to fix the signal problem and this way be able to find other satellites.

Welcome to Satelliteguys FTA forum :)

Which revision of the Nexus card are you using? The later 2.3 have a problem in ProgDVB for which you'll need the updated module (Available from progdvb.com)
Make sure your LO settings are correct (11250,0,11250) and you're not using a Diseqc switch.
