At these prices, it's hard to justify an outright buy of an iPhone! :up 
...and in countries where a carrier subsidy is not common, this thing should do well.

Wish it was going to be available on Verizon, I could just about break even coming from my Note 2.
I think, I'm going to order one and try it out. I've been using my old Galaxy S, while waiting all week for my Note 2 to be repaired. Shattered the screen Monday morning, it was supposed to be fixed Tuesday and of course they get the screen unglued from digitizer before they realize they don't have a new ribbon cable for the home button. I could have ordered the parts and done it myself if I knew it was going to take all week.
I want a larger screen back up phone or primary phone depending on how the Note 2 comes out. This little 3.5in screen just doesn't cut it after going big, not to mention a few of my apps don't work fully in gingerbread. I knew I shouldn't have given my mom my Galaxy S3 I was keeping as a back up. It has a splintered screen (one little crack) in the corner, but it doesn't really affect he use of the phone. Live and Learn I guess.

Will Verizon just not activate it?
Should work fine.
Might not do Verizon LTE band, but that's easy to find out.
And do you -need- LTE anyway? (I don't)
