Newby question, Do they make a program/connection box for Laptop

OK, guys, I have another question. I would like to use my laptop as the setup meter for my portable dish..... I need to know if they have the stuff to hook it up for aiming of the satellite. At the present time I will be using the little meter that came with the antenna kit with 2 9V batteries in series to do the aiming...... If I could get another use from my laptop, it would be great.....

I have that application for my DROID from Verizon, it is good...... However if the lite is bright you can't see the screen very well.... I would like to be able to use my Lap Top connected to the satellite dish for aiming like the expensive meters do. I would like to tell it what satellite I want then just crank it in having it tell me if I am close ect........
