Newbie to satelite

Help!!! I had Direct install ed my house in California. I travel in my motor home to Arizonia alot and was told I could take a reciever and hook it up to a dish and it would work. I don't watch while traveling. What type of dish antenna will work best. The recievers are Model D12Nc-100. I have a single LNB 18' dish but can't find the satelite. Thanks JVB

You need to know the aiming parameters for where you are. Try this site to get the parameters: Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com With the round single dual output LNB dish you will only get the 101 satellite.

Would I be better off to get a 3 LNB dish??? or a 5??? Thanks
