I have recently purchased and received most of the parts and ready to setup, but having difficulties. Hoping someone can help me with this. My zip code is 77077.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
1) I see 4 ports from LNBF. Alternating L and C. I’ve used first set of L and C to SAT1 and SAT2 on DiSEqC switch.

2) I hooked up OUT from the switch to the IF IN on the receiver. Once I get the rotor, do I hook up OUT from the switch to rotor’s LNB and rotor’s Receiver to the IF IN on the receiver?

3) Installation menu on my receiver has the list of the satellites on left pane and on the right has lnb type, lnb local frequency, 22kHz, DiSEqC, Skew, TP, Positioner Setting, and Satellite Scan. Let’s say I want to connect to T-5/KU satellite, what are the settings and where do I point my dish?

This is what I’ve purchased.
Pansat 3500sd,
Fortec 35' dish,
STAB HH-90 rotor (haven't received yet),
Invacom QPH-031 Quad LNBF, and
4x1 DiSEqC switch.

Thank you in advance.

The L.O. for the Circular outputs is 11250

The L.O. for the Linear outputs is 10750

WELCOME to the SAatelliteGuys. US FTA forum!

I think it would be a GOOD idea to forget the switch until you are ALL set up and working using a LINEAR output!

Same with the motor, its a good idea to find and store a few satellites before ever using a motor!

The below elevations are WITHOUT a motor :)

1) Thats fine.

2) Yep.

3) LNB Type would be Universal 2. LO would be 10750. 22khz off, Diseqc port would be whichever your linear lnb is plugged into.

3. setup on the screen for T5

LNB Type is STANDARD
LNB LO is 10750
22k is off
Diseqc is whatever port you have the L side of the LNB on
Skew just leave (its not used in this setup)
TP is an active tranponder. Change it to 12152 or 12177 (there is transponders in there that start with that)
Positioner is to control the motor

Thank you so much. I'll give this a try. I'm sure I'll be asking more question as tmie pass.
