Newbie swm questions

Is there any problem using a 4 way splitter and only using two ports! (swm splitter)

When I have my d* installed, where will the installer put the power injector? Does it go outside? Near one of the boxes? Is it it something that is easily moved?

He will put it where best installed, not outside, it can be moved, but is not recommended as wiring must be changed to do so.
