Newbie question

I live in florida and have DirecTV w/HD DVR. I want to phase into the FTA world but just not sure what channels to expect.I know I'm not going to have not close as much channels as DTV and really no HD (but not have that heavy price tag either),but will I be able to get like TBS, TNT, USA, Discovery, Animal Planet and channels like a basic cable and my local stations.Thanks in advance

oh yeah-also wanted to know what is a good newbie setup.thinking of the Sadoun Fortec special or I seen a special on ebay with a Traxis 3500 or Nfusion.Thanks again

Nope, you won't get those channels.

I think the best one is at 123.0 , but there is some foreign on it also. The best thing about FTA is the "wild" feeds you can pick up.
