Just had a 622 installed with dish 1000 several months ago, just in the last few days, I have noticed much pixelating and signal losses so this morning I checked the signal strength on all transponders and this is what I have, on 110 the best was 68-70, on 119 the best was 55 and on 129 the best was 50. I live in Northeast Mississippi, zip 39773. What should I do?? My receiver showed signal loss on Tuner 1 between 9:07p.m. 8/5 & 8:22 am 8/6 we had 4 signal losses. Between 3:07 p.m. 8/5 and 9:07 P.m. 8/5 we had 6 signal losses. I have a 501 connected to a dish 500 and we hardly ever have this problem. Please advise what I should do, call Dish tech and complain or what, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I am having a very similar problem with my 622 and dish 1000. My signal strengths have also taken a dive. I'm in the 50s and 60s on everything.I called Dish technical support yesterday and scheduled a tech to come out and repoint the dish. Installs are warrantied for 90 days. It has been just a few weeks past the 90 days since I had my 622/dish 1000 upgrade so the CSR waved the 49.99 service call fee.

I sorta figured I would have to call tech support and see what they would tell me, the installer put the dish 1000 on the roof of my shop, not where we wanted it but he insisted this was the only way for clear site but we knew that was not true and let him do it his way and this is what is get. My 622 was installed on May 29th so maybe I can get them to come and repeak the 1000. without a service fee, what do you think??
Thanks for your replys,

How *hot* are CONUS transponders on 110 vs. 119?

Dish knocks out too easily in my opinion
