Hi all....I have a 10 ft dish which I have in my yard for a long time and have not used it in years and would like to try it out again and see whats new in the sky....the problem is I forgot how to use the receiver and can't find the manual.....it's got to be 15 years old or more....I tried to remember where, what and who went where with the wires and seemed to get that straight without burning out anything...thank goodness....I was able to move the dish back and forth with the unit controls and clicker....I remember there was a auto find a satellite on the controls except I also remember you have to be at least close to a sat...sooooo, my receiver is a fujitsu fsr4900 and if anyone out there knows where I can download this manual or can guide me through finding the obviously new sat locations....please do....thanks, Ram

Ramdes,

Personally, I cannot assist with anything C-Band. I am only proficient with the Ku-Band equipment. You will, however, get some great assistance here from the C-Band folks. There is also an area on this forum dedicated to C-Band followers that you should investigate.

Mostly, I just wanted to relay a hardy "Welcome" to you for joining us here!

I yie yie, site satellitehelp.com is down:eek:, as of right now, Hope it comes back, as that's where your programming instructions are(were).
Hopefully, another member has or had that model and can help.:welcome

If its 15 years old, its almost certainly an analog receiver. It will be useful for moving your dish, but there's not too much analog left up there. There is some occasionally. Most everything now is digital, but the good news is that you can still use your dish with a new digital receiver to see a whole lot of programming!
