Totally lost!!! I have a new Dish service the 2 TV- 100.4 mpeg 4 with the vip722K DVR The dish is the DishPro. The service guy set it up to the eastern Arc. 77--72.7 --61.5 Satellites. I ask for and received a second Dish pro complete so I could use the vip722k in my camper.
The problem,When I set it up in my camper I get a message that I am receiving fewer Satellites and will receive fewer channels and my choices are ( save this setup) (cancel ) or( retest )( the retest gets the same options.my question is,If I save the set up with fewer channels on my camper dishpro setup will I get the option to go back to my regular setup with all the satellites and channels when I hook back up to my DishPro dish at home when I hook the vip722k up to it or what can I expect. I have changed nothing as of yet.Oh I used a peak meter to set up my camper Dishpro dish.Like I said totally lost with no clue.

Do the "save this setup". When you reinstall it in your home you'll just have to do a check switch and it'll pick up all 3 satellites and all of the channels you subscribe to. Your camper install probably only "sees" 1 or 2 satellites so you won't get all the channels there. If you get in trouble just post back here & someone will help you out. By doing the "save this setup" thing you're not doing anything permanent, you can change it by doing a check switch. Hope this helps.
Welcome aboard!:up

If the "second Dish pro complete" is also a Dish 1000.4 as implied, you have either an aiming or line of sight issue.

If it's a lone LNB or a Twin, the message is to be expected and you should choose save. The Check Switch routine needs to be done each time the receiver is moved to a different LNB/switch configuration.

Thanks to both of you .You just got a aun happy wife off my back.
And yes Bobabird both dishes are the dishpro1000.4 style.I'll be more precise in my setups on the camper. Thanks for the replys
