Hi Everyone, total greenpea to all this. This site sure has alot of info but it could take days to find the answers. I currently have a DP Dish Pro Dual and a DP Dish Plus, 110, 119 & 61.5, HDDVR 622 and a 322 box. The 110 & 119 being on the same antenna and the 61.5 on another. The 61.5 connects to the 110 & 119 antenna, 2 wires coming off the roof connecting into 2 seperators. Hopefully I am posting this in terms someone will understand. My questions is what would be the easiest way to connect 2 more receivers to my system?

Your options are to add a DPP44 switch as stated above, some DP 34 switches (Cheaper but requires 2 lines run to dual tuners), or upgrade to a different dish such as a Dish 1000.2. You dont mention how many receivers you are trying to hook up.

Thank You,
So if I get A DP44, I would just need 1? I read somewhere that the DP 44 has to be plugged into an outlet, is this true? I don't have an accessible outlet outside. If I went with 2 DP34 I guess I would be eliminating the seperators? The other thing is you mention the 61.5 to port 3, does this mean it will not be connected to the 110/119 satellite anymore?
Sorry for all the questions, I appreciate the help; just want to make sure I buy the right equipment.

DP 34 switches (Cheaper but requires 2 lines run to dual tuners), .
They also only have 4 outputs, Great for single tuner receivers. But if you have DVRs ,or daul room receivers ,each take up 2 spots. You can still only hook up 2 dvrs or 2 daul tuner on a DP34.
And with his current 622 and 322. He'd be in the same boat he's in right now, except now he has 4 wire running instead of 2.
You would have to buy 2- DP 34, So you can Pay $120 for 2 and have to run double the wire.
Or as stated a DP44. $179 That has 4 single wire outputs , Thats 4 dvr's that can be hooked up.

OP's last line: "... easiest way to add 2 more receivers to my system."

2 more means OP needs the switch. Also needing 61.5 eliminates most Dish 1000's.

Brain fart on that one. Yes Hemi 2 DP34s would indeed be cheaper as you pointed out. Doesnt make much sense not to get a DPP44 but for some the cost would matter. I think I pointed out in my original post that yes a dual tuner required 2 lines run.

How does the DPP44 connect? Doesn't it still have 4 outs like the DP34. If I eliminate the seperators than I would still have to plug in 2 wires into the switch , How would my other 2 tvs witout boxes get signal?

You would use two lines from the twin to the first two ports, 61.5 should go into port 3. One coax from each output to each receiver with separator used for each dual tuner receiver. Usually a power inserter is needed somewhere in coax run from output 1, but a dp dual tuner receiver used on that line makes it so you don't need it. (I would use the 622 for that one.)

On both receivers I have a PVDP3 Diplexer switch & a DP Plus separator switch 123254, the only difference is on the 322 the separator is a bit bigger (don't know if this means anything), outside I also have 2 separators. So I am thinking what I have to do is replace the outside separators with a DPP44, run a line direct from the 61.5 to the DPP44, connect the 2 receivers to the DPP44 and this would work? Also does the DPP44 have to be pluged into an electrical outlet? Sorry this is so confusing!

The outside items are diplexers, not separators. Diplexers are always used in pairs on the same coax, one to insert an antenna or cable signal and one to remove it. The power inserter for the DPP44 can be located inside at the receiver.

EHD folders coming this week?

IS THERE A TOOL THAT GIVES THE PHONE LINE TONE TO THE DUAL TUNERS?
