I am moving into a new house that has 6 Coax Runs . I am going to upgrade my Dual LNBF to a Quad LNBF so that I can have four receivers.

I understand that the Quad LNB has has built in switches, but my question is when I run the Coax from the Dish to the Coax already inside the house, what kind of Connector/Splitter do I need to connect the lines? Is there anything special I need.

I checked out the diagrams, but they are using SW switches and DC Blocked splitters.

Just looking to see what I can use.

Thanks.

You can use a barrel connector or use ground blocks. I would suggested the ground blocks so you can ground the wires. Mine are mounted in the attic and a ground wire is run over to the power meter for the ground.

Use a HF Dual Ground block, you will need 2 of these, you can pick them up at Home Depot or Lowes more than likly. If you put them outside, make sure you install them were water will not get into them, just a tip.

Newbie Question: What is "SuperDish"?
