OK
Got my Kinect pre-ordered the new Dashboard rocks! They added ESPN now so you can watch sports plus added some features to Zune so I can pulll in my collection. Also added some features to Netflix and Last.fm as well so make sure to click on all of the main programs to get their updates. The new Avatars look better as well and the layout is better the only dislike I have seen. Is the boot up screen has a White background which before was green and some of the other background screens went from green to white. Some are saying the white is to bright which I can see understand that. They probably should have kept the green but overall the new dashboard is great.

Everything needs updated including WMC.

WMC keeps freezing.

Got it to work, bad thing is no internet tv app with the WMC.

Will COD be compatible with Kinnect? Or is it only some games?

There going to have their own line up of games for the Kinnect. There one that comes with the Kinect called Kinect Adventures that don't look to bad plus they have some other ones that will be coming out for it. Here a list of some of the titels..

I just installed the update and it seems to have bogged down my 360 slim tremendously. Haven't tried powercycling the unit yet, but that may be imminent. Anyone else experiencing slow down?

No slow down for me runs about the same..

No slow down on my end. ESPN3 is AWESOME. Picture quality is great. It is in HD. I canceled my ESPN Full Court auto renew. Can't wait for College Basketball season.

Also like the new search feature on Netflix. In the past, I had to go back to my computer and add it to my queue. I don't use Zune or Last.fm, so not sure about those.

My kids are the ones that play the games, so I can't comment on those. (I must be too old for video games.) ;-)

I noticed a slowdown on downloading updates, or so it seems to me.
No slowdown on watching streamed content though. Yet anyway.
I am pleased with the update so far.

Yeah they also have Search option on Netflix now and you can add things to you que that they send you by mail as well now. Also if you have Zune pass you can stream the music just like you would online and and things to your que as well. ESPN is nice as well so far things are working well and should get my Kinect a few days after launch.

The slowdowns were due to everyone trying to download the new apps at the same time. It may take a little while but things seemed to have calmed down now (at least until all those Kinect users slam into the servers on Thursday)

Anyone try to upgrade to the new family live gold plan? I was thinking about it , since I have 3 gold accounts in my house. Looks like all existing gold accounts need to be on the same console, to add them to the family plan. My 2 kids have their own consoles. I guess I'll need to temporarily move them to the main console, add them to the plan, then recover they're accounts on their consoles. What a PITA!
