New way of company downsizing

Oh yeah...it was three years ago. They actually outsourced me, then didnt pay their bills to the outsourcing company, so they outsourcing company moved us to another account. Then that account decided to IN source us and make us employees.

So, I was never really out of a job. But I do drive 67 miles each way to work every day.

That's good. 67 miles to work one way is quite a stretch. I drive 36 miles one way and at that it takes me almost an hour . And that is on a good day.

I wokedat a major mainframe computer company in the late 80s and early 90s when downsizing was a reality. There was a lot of dark humor. It is how we stayed sane through it all.
