not new to satellite. We had Direcway, now Hughes for 5 yrs. It was a pain at times but served us well since that was the only available solution except dialup to get on the internet. Now we are using sprint and an aircard- what a difference. Speeds are faster and the latency went from 1 sec to 250 ms - so everything seems much faster.

I stumbled on this site on RV.Net : RV.Net – The Leading RV Community, Club, RV Travel and Information Source for Recreational Vehicle Camping I am looking forward to posting and asking a few questions to learn what I need to get the best out of either D*or E*. What a great site you all contribute to!!

Welcome to the site.

1 second latency isnt bad at all with sat net, when I had starband it was common for it to average 2 - 5 seconds wich made for terrible online gaming and caused alot of problems with online banking.
