Who will receive new cards?

I have a 721, will I get a new card?

Everybody with a blue smart card will receive a new smart card. Those with the yellow Dish500 smart card or receivers that did not come with a smart card this past year such as the 311, 322, 522 will not get a new smart card since it already has one in it.

Will replacing the card finally remove the purchase history on the 721? I have PPV purchases showing up in the history from over a year ago. (Yes, they've all been reported and paid for). Or is this list on the hard drive? That would seem to be a waste of HDD space.
