I connected my DSR 4200V to my fixed dish that I used to use for HITS, and although I haven't moved the dish to 125 yet (the receiver is programmed for a mux of tunes there) this morning the signal lock light was on! Something must have appeared there, since it wasn't locked on a signal before (and knew it wouldn't be until I move the dish) Anyone know of a new signal on 105 at the same frequency as m/c on 125?

Sent from my DROIDX using SatelliteGuys

There is a mux that has some of the music channels
3880 V 19510

The mux on 125W is at 3895 V 19510

maybe that much drift possible?

Could be. There was just a black screen though, when I flipped through the channels & no sound. DMX should have played music, since this 4200 gets all the FP/ZK stuff. Unless it's drifted far enough for a lock, but not enough to actually get the sound maybe?

no you locked the mux at 3900.
Then when you said you received nothing that makes sense using that receiver you did.
having the receiver lock + or - 5 is nothing at all on these receivers.
Since you did not have the proper VCT nor other info correct such as the VC number that is why you received a blank screen.
This is not a new mux but one that has been there a long while.

but the polarity is different on the 105W mux versus the 125 mux. Thats why I figured it woudlnt work with that transponder

Not sure if it will get you anything but here.
