JVC said it will also offer EchoStar's hi-def PVR in the TU-DVR921 under its brand.

If you don't want Echostar branded TV and still want your toys to match you now have a second option.

Wow, this is good news! I've been very interested in the 921 and I just recently bought a JVC 36" I'Art HDTV, so this will make a great matching set.
