I'm getting direct tv installed in march its a new rental house I'm moving into and I'm not allowed to put a satellite on the roof or anywhere on the house. How much will an installer charge me to do a pole install?

why not do it yourself, you can get the supplies at home depot for cheap, you'll also need to dig the trench for him. 1 5/8" pole 16ga minimum 6' long, 2' underground 4' above. what i do is dig down 2' then put the pole in, and put some gravel in to plumb it then put the easy mix concrete in then water it down then let it sit over night. i don't recommend having the concrete level with the yard, that way you can cover it with dirt and plant grass seed or whatever. it just looks better that way.

Have it mounted to a pole. Decide what your time is worth, If 2-3 hrs of your time and effort is worth 60-100 bucks then pay the installer to do the pole.

Eiter way make sure the equipment does not come form home depot as they suck and sponsor a dirty driver !!!!!!!!
