Subject: Urgent Programming Update: NEW HSN Shop By Remote Application Now Available on DishHOME interactive TV - Channel 100

On Tuesday, May 22nd, DISH Network launched a new interactive television application with the Home Shopping Network called HSN Shop By Remote on DishHOME channel 100. The new HSN Shop By Remote Application will be available to all customers with model 3900, 4900, 111, 211, 222, 301D, 301E, 311, 322, 381, 411, 501, 508, 510, 522/625, 622, 811, and 942 receivers.
The new HSN Shop By Remote Application will be available in DishHOME, under Shopping listed as # 3 on most set top boxes. At a later date the HSN channels, 222 and 84, will present viewers with an interactive trigger to launch the application directly from the channel. Launch date for the triggers is still TBD.
Some of the product features included are:
•Products in the application are updated real-time as the items change on-air the items available for purchase are displayed in the main menu.
•The application shows four items for purchase at any given time. Items are as follows: ON-AIR NOW and the last 2 RECENTLY AIRED products and the TODAY’S SPECIAL product.
•Users can also watch the HSN channel in full screen if they choose.
•All item variables, including size, color, flavor, scent, style, the flexpay option, quantity and warranty are part of the ordering process.
•Once a user selects the item the set top box dials out to see if the product is in stock in real-time.
•The application also has a ‘Help’ menu to answer some FAQs about HSN and the application.
•Items purchased from the iTV application will be shipped to the users’ address they have confirmed with HSN when they signed up for the HSN account.
•A phone line connection is required to make a purchase with the set top box.
•Any questions on items ordered should be referred to HSN Customer Service at 1-800-436-1600 or they can check their status online at http://www.hsn.com & login.
