New here and wanting to get Canadian TV

Hey guys, I'm new to the whole Canadian satellite TV thing so pardon my ignorance on the whole matter, but I was wondering what was the easiest/best way to get Canadian TV in the US? I have gathered by reading a few of the posts that you either have to know someone in Canada and use their address, go through a broker, or basically go to Canada buy the equipment and possibly get one of those UPS Store type mailbox addresses. Am I correct in this or no? I live in NC, so going to Canada is not really feasible, but could be done if need be and I don't know a soul in Canada. I can't really find much info on brokers, so I'm kinda lost in that respect. Any information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
