I just turned on my TV and there was KONG and KMYQ in HD :), both fairly worthless channels but more HD is always good. The local NBC affiliate is KING5, they run a second station which shows mostly reruns is KONG16, MYQ22 is a second station run by the local Fox affiliate, Fox13, and never has anything worth watching on.

I would rather have gotten CW in HD but this is cool. That makes 6 local HD chans.

How's bout PBS?

I hadn't noticed this, but never checked. I think our local PBS in HD would be my preference. Politics aside. Does our local PBS broadcast in HD?

Well, surprise, surprise! E* finally turned them on. They were uplinked in MPEG4 (HD) about two weeks ago, but weren't active until today! No, KCTS (PBS) is still SD only. I don't expect that to change too soon, considering how long it took to get more local HD here (aside from 4, 5, 7 and, eventually 13).

Granted, KONG and KMYQ are fairly non-critical stations, but hey, more local HD isn't something to throw rocks at...

Agreed, I would like PBS in HD also, I just don't see it anytime soon.

BTW - Great avatar.
