I saw your avatar and post title and had a flashback to the introduction of "New Coke"!248 is Here in HD
It was. It is already listed on the Channel Updates page on the mydish website, which has not actually been updated in a very long time: Channel Updates on DISH | MyDISHI like westerns in the movies and on TV but not much into the cowboy lifestyle. I thought this channel was already in HD.
207 is an interactive channel for receivers with the Hopper interface, and it is a mirror of the existing Multi-View on channel 151. They re-purposed the College Sports Multi-View (since there are no college sports) into a news Multi-View, and added an additional channel number for it in the News range to reflect this.I see 348 but not 207
Just for fun, I experimented with the various Multi-Views (channels 100, 151, 207, and 853) on a deactivated Wally. The video windows are all covered with boxes saying either "Not Subscribed" or "Press Select to Upgrade" (as would be expected) but the audio from all of the channels is still available by highlighting the channel to which you would like to listen.207 is an interactive channel for receivers with the Hopper interface, and it is a mirror of the existing Multi-View on channel 151. I can confirm that the Dish Home Multi-View is still available on channel 100 on my ViP222k. Currently, I am getting FXNWS, CNN, and MSNBC in the clear on that channel. ESPN, WEATH, and HLN are all covered by "Not Authorized" boxes, since I do not subscribe to those channels. Is that what I accidentally landed on and didn't understand how I activated it! There used to be a multiview available on my old VIP receivers, e.g. channel 100. Is that now only on the Hoppers (and Joeys)?
Not sure what you mean by half of a day. It has been almost a year. While is now half of a day..

...as I already guessed and explained in post number 6:type o 348 not 248
I am guessing that they must have me on Ignore, so they did not see my post.It was. It is already listed on the Channel Updates page on the mydish website, which has not actually been updated in a very long time: Channel Updates on DISH | MyDISH
I assumed there was a typo in the first post, and it was supposed to say 348. That is the brand-new StarzEncore channel added today (HD-only). The other StarzEncore HD channels are HD feeds of channels that were previously carried in SD-only.
I saw your post, and so did he, and he didn't acknowledge a typo or that you were correct, and he posted again, so i said evidently it isn't a typo. I figured he was still talking about Ride tv....as I already guessed and explained in post number 6:

Well, he did post again, but only after you quoted his original post. The half-a-day time-frame seemed to fit with when the new StarzEncore channel was added, so I just took that as confirmation of my guess. I simply assumed that he had not spotted his typo. I am not trying to argue. I am just saying that I guess I am better at reading between the lines.I saw your post, and so did he, and he didn't acknowledge a typo or that you were correct, and he posted again, so i said evidently it isn't a typo.
