Thanks Iceberg! Well, score some points for the Visionsat. That company does seem committed to working out the bugs, which is encouraging. However, I'm still waiting a bit on a final PVR purchase decision. It will probably be between the Visionsat and the Conaxsat...

yep. Sounds like the buffer thing is MOnday...here are my thoughts on it (the posts are in the review)
well I just tried it and well

AWESOME!!!!!

Have a 8x1 diseqc and on port 7 have a 4x1. Scanned SBS6 which is on port 1 and scanned fine. Scanned AMC5 which is on 7-4 (uncommitted port 7 committed port 4) and it blind scanned PERFECTLY!

Now trying port 7-3 which is IA8 and a bandstacked LNB and seeing how it handles that
well it scanned 89 FLAWLESSLY!!!!

This sounds very encouraging. Has anyone tried to access the .TS files stored on an external USB2 hard drive? Are they "normal"? (Do they show up in Windows Explorer as standard .TS files which can be played via VLC?)

Can one of you record something short like (5 - 10 MB) and send it to me, I want to try and see if I can convert it so it can be played with VLC.

Thanks.
