Mega Media, Voom copro deal bears fruit
NEWS BRIEF: Voom HD Network's high-definition fashion, beauty and style channel Ultra HD will receive two new one-hour Ultra Eye specials thanks to the copro partnership between its parent company Rainbow HD Holdings, Mega Media Pte and the Media Development Authority of Singapore.
The programming created through the October 2005 agreement is jointly owned by the three firms, and is also available for sale in the international market for three years following production.
Each Ultra Eye episode examines the culture of a stylish city, from its design to cuisine and fashion, with the latest episodes covering Tokyo and Singapore.
"When Singapore's Mega Media approached us to co-create quality HD content, we welcomed the collaboration. We were happy to produce additional episodes of Ultra Eye with them as it allows us to work with such a trendsetting production company," said Liz Dewey, VP of programming at Ultra HD.
