For the first time in years, a new resident in my building scheduled a Dish install. I just happened to be there yesterday when the tech showed up. I didn't realize they work on Sunday afternoons. Anyways, luckily for him I never removed the old 1000.1 EA dish from the roof. I almost took it down a few weeks ago. I got him access to the mechanical room where we easily found the red Hopper splitter. He was ecstatic that he didn't have to install a new dish, run cables or install splitters. "Easy money!" he said. While I was happy to help, I can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't been there. I guess what was most shocking to me is that someone wanted satellite. Most new residents just want internet.

Give him a week to check it all out, and ask him how he likes it then. Or, wait until he gets his first bill, lol
