.....
The new customer offer looks pretty good. Lots of changes.....Dish can't touch this. ;)

The ARS fee otherwise known as the advanced receiver fee has been reduced from $25-$15. Pretty significant in my mind.

Check out the attached pdf for all the details.

Ok I came to the conclusion both sat companies are just gonna fee us to death. All hope is lost.......

I know, wasn't paying attention until it was put in my face...lol.

At least they are offering $10 off per month for the 2nd yr.

Wouldnt the new deal be better?

$15 adv rec fee + $6 primary fee = $21

existing customers $25 adv rec fee + $0 primary fee = $25

Confused, so they are doing it for $15 instead of $25 ...

Are the EXISTING subs getting thier fees reduced by $10 ?

Yes, but they are being charged for every receiver/dvr, including the primary one, so that's an extra $6, resulting in a net reduction of $4.

Scott said in another thread that this would not affect existing customers. It's hard to say at this point, things may have changed since as well.

You would think at some point every customer would be on the same page as far as billing goes.?.?.?

I was under the impression that you could change your billing to the new version, but I may have misread that.

If I'm reading this right, the $99 upgrade fee for the wireless clients includes up to 3 & not $99 per?
