This is GREAT news, unless your already a NFL ST and D* sub.

Are they gonna do anything for us existing subs ?

Like give us FREE SF without having to call and bug them ?
That would be a nice start/ gesture with the current economy ....

Well I guess $59 for 5 months is better than $75 for 4 months, get a 5th month of free premier.

I still think they should throw in superfan for new customers.

As for us existing subs, probably won't get anything unless you call and see what they'll do for your individual situation.

I won't call this early about SF because I did that last year and they said, Yes you'll get it, it's on your account, then when it came time to use it, it was not.

I think they should throw in SF for anyone that has had it for more than a year.

I have had ST since I started, and SF since it's been available, do I need to call so they know I want the SF again this year, or can I count on it being there on Game Day ?

Would they be likely to do anything for me when my 2 yr commitment is up in august? I have had directv since 2000 but now there are some other options, like uverse that will give me a great deal to switch to them, I know that would mean no sunday ticket but it was likely to get dropped this year anyway.

Nothing for current ST+SF Subscribers...lol

1. i dont think superfan gets carried over like the ticket does....u have to call each year.

2. on the sister site alot of people are posting that with sunday ticket they are getting free superfan & $10 or $20 credit for 6 months (for people not curretly getting any credits) when they call directv to see what kind of deal they can get this year.

So is the $59 for 5 months include HD (not NFL but regular HD programming) and DVR fees too? So if I have 3 HD DVR's what am I looking at with the SF for a monthly total for 5 months? Also, can the referal and/or AAA discount be used?
So July 21st I will be calling Directv!

$59 for NFLST for 5 months. $16 for HD/DVR access each month. $20 for Superfan access for 5 months (required to get HD games, in addition to HD Access, which doesn't get you NFL HD). DVR fee is per account, not per receiver.

So, month 1-5:

$59, $16, $20 $10 (extra 2 receivers) = $105/month

After promo figure $76 for the HD-DVR package plus $10 for the extra two receivers.

Discounts - you can get the $100 referral discount ($10 for 10 months), or the AAA discount ($10 for 24 months). Some have previously gotten both, only way to know is to try come July. Let me or another staff member know if you need a referral.

My NFLST and Superfan have both carried over and the renewal is on my bill for $0, and will bill for the installment amount next month unless I call to cancel. That should be how everyone elses work. If you had it last year, it should auto-renew unless you take action.

Crap, I was hoping that the premier package included the HD and DVR fees. I am hopeful to hear about this cell phone thing those as I work every other sunday evening and this would be great.

As for Sunday evening, remember NFLST only covers the 1pm and 4pm ET games, so anything after 7pm is just on national television (in which case a slingbox is best).

They say 3 games will be available on mobile. Personally, I have a slingbox and the mobile software on my phone, think that is a much better solution than "hoping" directv chooses the game I want to see.
