I have my hr20-700 wired to my network. I can see the DVR with my Network Magic program; I can ping it but I can't connect to internet. I have my McAfee firewall turned off (as well as Windows firewall). I gave up trying to connect wirelessly so I bought a cat 5 wire and connected directly.
I have read hundreds of pages on this site but still can't get connected. I can share files between my desktop which is connected to my DLink- N router and my Laptop(wirelessly). It appears that my network is performing properly.
Is there a simple setup procedure for connecting the HR20-700 by wire to the internet. Everything seems to be working but no connection.
I have WMP 11 and Tiversity installed but can't get connected to Internet. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong??
