won't nero give you a free upgrade to nero 7 if you recently purchased nero 6? i thought i saw that on their website, but it might have been only through them.

Stick with v6.x for a while.... I tried v7 for a short while and while there's "little" things I liked, mainly user-interface-wise, important things I didn't like. I couldn't burn at more than 6x, for example. Same PC, same burner, same media with v6, I burned at 15.9x.

If the upgrade to 7 for free applies, at least get it but don't install it. Then when 7.x becomes stable, consider updating to it.

Not from this OEM suite.

BTW OEM versions, due to their nature, are illegal to be sold without relevant hardware on the same bill (in this case CD or DVD drive).
