need to raise dish 1000 its on a pole got from dealer like to raise it about ten more feet do they make a pole that would connect to the old pole .i know that the pole is a little different size that the old over the air antenna pipe thanks for any help

Sorry...but it seems like your best bet is to get an old TV tower...plant it in the ground and then clamp the mast to the tower.

WHY? Unless you are not getting a proper signal, which means the installer should not have left it as is, there is no advantage to raising higher and serveral disadvantages.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Putting it on a tower or taller structure will introduce problems. Anytime the wind blows it will move the dish slightly that might cause the signal to momentarily go out.

try this!!

All you need are some 10 ft. lengths of pipe and some guy wires!! Remember to adjust the tension on all those wires the same though, or you get that funky s-shape
