I currently have a Hughes SD DirecTV receiver in master bedroom with Terk LeapFrog RF Remote Extender to mirror an SD set in kitchen about 50 feet away. This has worked great for four years.

Just got an H20-600 receiver to replace the Hughes SD receiver. There's no mini-jack RF Remote antenna jack on the H20 to connect the Terk extender to. The H20 has a coax connector for RF remote antenna output.

My question is, can I adapt the existing Terk antenna to work with the H20? If not, what set up do I need to continue to mirror the two sets?

You can use RF mode with the new D* remotes, get two and program them both with the RF code from the D* box.

Go to menu - setup - remote - RF

You'll need to get an antenna for that jack on the back - D* will sell you an extra remote and antenna - just call, probally around $25.

The reason you would need to two RF remotes is, once the receiver is set to RF, its RF only. It will no longer respond to IR commands.

Thank you very much. This was the exact advice I was looking for.
