need new software

Hi,

I have a Mark V 2500A fta receiver (I don't know if this is a name brand, clone or what) anyways I haven't been able to find any software for it.

I was scrolling thru the menus with the remote, the screen blacked out for a sec and now I cannot access any channels. It basically stays on the "language" option screen and also the "parental control" and "channel edit" options have greyed out on the main menu.

I figure if I can find the software upgrade it should fix this.

Does anyone have any info, ideas or suggestions?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

what size dish?

What kind of setup do you have? I'm confused as to why you would need new software..I have 9 boxes and all don't need new software.
