I live in Jackson Co, GA. I am about 47 miles from the local tower, zip code 30549, according to antenna.web
My vhf signals are coming in strong, but with minor snowing. My question is, what do I need to do in order to get the UHF digital signals?

Thanks in advance.

2 options
-combine a cm4228 for uhf with your cm3020 for vhf (for ch 10) with a cm7777 preamp which has separate inputs for vhf and uhf.

-replace your cm3020 with a winegard hd8200p with a cm7777 or winegard ap 8275 preamp

the cm 3020 is relatively weak on high band vhf and uhf in comparison to its size of the higher end combo antennas.

comparison of average dbd gain fiqures.
cm3020 162"
3.6 dbd low vhf
8.1 high vhf
9.5 uhf

hd8200p 177.5"
7.0
11.5
13.3

cm4228 uhf only
11-13 dbd

Hey I wanted to update you on my situation. I just found out what I was doing wrong. I had the signal input from my tv menu to cable in, instead of Air in. so when I made the change I ran an auto scan and I couldn't believe the results. My CM3020 pulls in all my HD locals by itself! The average signal strength is between 50-70 strong.
I can watch my favorite shows in HD!
I guess by having the signal input on cable instead of air the tv was looking for VHF signals , but when I changed it to Air in looked for both VHF and UHF.

It is a very exciting day for me, thanks for reading my post.

peace
