I have a dish pro d500 hooked up to a 2800 reciever all I get are the 119 channels on the odd transponder. I've tried to fine tune it but no luck, how do I get the even transponder and the 110 channels. Also it doesn't detect a switchbox if that means anything.

I'll bet the donut that:
1. You don't have a DishPro adapter, and/or your feed cable is crap.
2. You've got the 110 eye pointed at 119.
I'm just in an ornery mood today, aren't I? :D

I think i do have the 119 on the 110, I was testin my 119 signal and I covered the 119 lnb and was still beepin then I covered the 110 and it stop beepin. i tried to realign but didn't get nuthin. What adapter?

Well, maybe ornery, but right. ;)

If you get 119 on the 110 "eye" your dish is looking 9 degrees too far west. Rotate the dish counter-clockwise a smidge (I just defined "smidge" as 9 degrees :D ).

Without the DishPro Adapter, you will NOT be able to get any even number transponders - or roughly half the channels. A DP adapter costs around $70.

You should note that a new 311 receiver only costs about $30 more. If it were me, I'd forget about the 2800 - or find/trade for a Legacy LNBF.
