Need help with SWM LNB and OTA HD

Hi guys,

I just bought a SWM LNB and was wondering how I can diplex in my HD OTA antenna for locals. I read the article from satelliteguys on the LNB and it states it could be done. Please let me know if you have any ideas/wiring diagrams. Thanks in advance

I have the SWM8, figure they may be similar. I added a diplexer in the line after the Power Inserter bring in the OTA. I then have a diplexer behind the tv to break the OTA and sat signal back out.

Yepp, its just like the SWM8. Do your diplexing between the PI and DVR.

I too would like to do this. Please take a look, and tell me if my proposed setup would or would not work. Will the SWS-8 splitter be able to split the diplexed signal for all the lines? Also, if it wouldn't be to much trouble could you suggest a diplexor from one of our sponsors to use?

I think you may need to split first into 3 diplexors, but I may be wrong. Jason prob knows better.

So diplex after the splitter, between the splitter and reciever?

Can you suggest a specific diplexor that would be advisable to use for this application?

Yeah, Im not sur eif you can split the OTA/Sat signal.

Im thinking youd use a one in/three out splitter after the PI, then add a diplexer on each of the three feeds to bring OTA into each one. Then youd just need 3 more diplexers at the other ends. Not sure though.
