Need help setting up Traxis 3500

I'm pointed at IA 5 I did the auto scan, It only scans in all the horizontal channels, no vertcal channels are scanned? What I'm I doing wrong?

do a blind scan

also make sure your LNB power is on or 13/18 (each reciever is different)

My LNB power is on..... In my scan mode settings I have ALL and FREE I don't see a blind scan mode.

shoot. I dont have a 3500 so I dont know about the menu....I know PSB has one. Hopefully he will respond

I found something that said preset scan I scanned with that... I could see it scanning both H/V but I get no signal on the Vertical only horizontal. Maybe I have my LNB set up wrong?

You may have to download the latest firmware as there was a slight problem with the original!

Thanks Guys, I think its working now I had my LNB type set to user, I changed it to standard and it works. Except it won't scan in 12177 where the TBN Channel is or any other Channels on the Freq. Any ideas about that?

is there no signal? Maybe the symbol rate is wrong

S/R is 23000 in the receiver. I'm all confused LOL

I thought it was fixed I have all the Vertical Channels and no lost all the Horizontal???

A big Thank you To Ice and PSB.... all problems now solved. LNB type set to standard and set LNB Freq set to 10750 made all the difference.
