Need help getting HD channels in NC please

Need help getting HD channels in NC please, I have a regular dish but Sat 82 does not come in at all I get a signal from about 66 - 98 on sat 91

What dish do I need to get the HD channels in North Carolina ? Also are they easy to setup compared to the dish that Bell supplies.. thanks.

You are well outside the footprint of the BEV satellite which carries the HD. If you want HD you`ll have to switch providers to Shaw Direct.

Thanks - any idea when that changed ? I used to be able to get them no problem. Can't change providers, my buddy in Canada pays for my Bell

I believe Nimiq4 went into service in the Fall 2008....October-ish. At that time posters in this forum immediately began reporting trouble receiving a signal from the new satellite.

With Shaw Direct, you would have no trouble with footprint issues no matter where you are in the US.

It sounds like you are account sharing which is basically stealing.
