I have the guide back but it only shows programming for the next 12 hours. I am not sure how accurate it is.

Time for a channel name change to "EPIX Surprise Movies".

It's right now. It's the stupid Paul Hogan Almost an Angel showing now and that is what the guide says. Then it does go to nothing but Movie.

You are seeing the 2-program guide (mistakenly called 2-hr even by me) that comes from most/all satellites and not the 8-day guide that should be loaded daily. This guide has had nothing, 2-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour?, and 8-day at different times this week. Right now I have one program 4 days out on it. Most of the last 2 weeks it was right. So is it EPIX or TMS or Dish? The buck should stop with Dish.

My 922 shows movie, movie, movie. Since the 922 doesn't have a manual timer option, I can't set it up to record based on date/time. I'm very dependent on the guide.

run a switch chk and reboot to get it to download guide data. See if that works.
