TV band would penalize everyone else in the Big Ten.
I think they are a thing of the past unless you get the death penalty but as others have reported, that is not expected.
So, outside of PSU territory would also be blacked out ?

I don't know, there are rumors that the Big 10 may take them off of the Big Ten Network as part of the conference imposed punishments. I guess everyone will have a better idea in the morning after the NCAA makes their announcement.
The lack of competitive out of conference games is disheartening and a disservice to the game of college football. But NOT to the university money coffers, unfortunately.........
You don't have that problem with VT...they play all kinds of teams no matter who or when at least they step up and go toe to toe play some good games too. They open against Alabama against next year and the last game they played was a good one, should be a good one this time around.
The only set games (with dates) that I see so far are Bama on 8/31, followed by Western Carolina on 9/07, and Marshall on 9/21.And after that get beat by Bama, do they play anyone else ?

YepYep. Score didn't indicate how much bama dominated last time.

Will be more of the same next time.

I am sure you didn't believe that they would get beat last time either.

wait what? You do not think Alabama will beat Vtech?
Look I am a homer also and love my gators, but even I dont think we will beat Alabama this year, or LSU. Heck we will have trouble with GA, and USC...
LSU and Alabama both returned a massive amount of talent and there is no reason to think those two teams will not be the front runners again this year for the national title.
Agent Ralph Cindrich was on a Pittsburgh radio station on Thursday to discuss the Penn State scandal and sanctions, and in the course of the discussion brought up Nick Saban, saying that "everyone has something" on the Alabama coach and that, under oath, his players would say they were being paid.
The conversation with Larry Richert and John Shumway on KDKA turned towards Saban whenCindrich, a former NFL player, was asked who was watching the NCAA. Cindrich initially said "no one" and then said this:
"You want to know who's watching them? Nick Saban. You want to trust Nick Saban? I have enough on Saban right now — and I realize this stuff gets out, and I also realize the truth is a defense. I know what goes on in college football, so cut me a break.
"Everybody has something on Nick Saban, for God's sake. And if he has a problem with anything I say, come on after me, big guy."
When pressed about Saban, Cindrich used him as an example of the landscape of college football — though he didn't claim to be directly involved in any illicit dealings recently, nor offered any specifics from what he says he was involved in. When he was asked if Alabama players were being paid he said "Oh, come on.
Bet he got a few fanatic Bama sphincters to pucker though.Agent Ralph Cindrich says
Obviously we all know how football recruiting happens in many cases, or have our ideas anyway.
I say though, if you are going to go and make public accusations like this, he better be prepared to back them up. Pretty ballsy thing to say on the radio, then to not back up at all with any proof whatsoever.
Well, I guess that proves it.
