LOL, he has just plain lost his mind. Everybody knows the SEC has the toughest schedule.

I take that back. It will still certainly be one of those, but you can almost without a doubt include the new bowl that the Big12 and SEC have created.
I thought it was specifically announced as a separate game that they will control, and not the bowls.I still think the Big 12/SEC game will end up as the Cotton Bowl. The SEC gets another game for recruiting in Texas and the Big 12 gets a game in their home territory.
All those FCS teams late in the year make it rough
simple, because they money wasn't split evenly, so the major conferences had no reason to switch.I can't imagine how the University Presidents thought all this time that they were making MORE money with the bowls than with a playoff set up.
late? We normally beat up the FCS teams the first 2-3 games of the year End of the year is usually the rivalry games and conf games ;P
They have become more spread out through the season, but I wont make excuses for that. The core of the SEC schedule itself, and the big OOC games that most of the main players take, more than make up for it.late? That's what I'm thinking. Jones will throw lots of $$$ at them in order to host it in Jerry-World.I still think the Big 12/SEC game will end up as the Cotton Bowl. The SEC gets another game for recruiting in Texas and the Big 12 gets a game in their home territory.
Hmm.... How about Jacksonville State @ Florida November 17, 2012 or the week before November 10, 2012 when the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana visit Florida. That's a tough run of opponents there that will really hurt Florida's chances of dropping in the polls the last 3 weeks of the season.
Thats not the norm. usually like FLA has 2-3 warm up home games every year before the real season starts. Kind of unusual of a schedule for them.
they have?I don't have a problem if teams want to schedule the cream puffs but do it the first 3 weeks not at the end of the season. Everyone knows a late season loss hurts more, the sec has taken the weak route to insure they don't lose points at a critical time. If they're so tough play the tough games when it really matters like everyone else.
they have?
hmm... final games of the Season....
Alabama-Auburn
Florida-Florida State
South Carolina-Clempson
Georgia-Georgia Tech
LSU-Arkansas
yep, fool of creampuffs
You're arguing the opposite of the resident Hokie fan that complains his school plays (and loses to) tough team to start the season. I would think Alabama's handling of the Nittany Lions to start a season is more impressive than at the end.
But if we're talkign about pre-rivalry week, lets take a peek at the Big 12
Oklahoma-Iowa St
Oklahoma St-Iowa St (cowboys took a week off before the OU game)
The Texas schools save a creampuff for the week after they play each other
final game:
Texas A&M-Northwestern
Texas-Baylor
Who did Okahoma St. play OOC last year? Wasn't it Tulsa, LA-Layfette, and Arizona?
I didn't say the last game of the season, I said the end of the season and it is common knowledge that losing late hurts you more in the crappy poles than losing early. Their just manipulating the system scheduling cream puffs late, so they don't run the risk of losing late and falling out of a favorable ratings position. The sec conference schedule is no tougher than the Big 12 or Big 10's and everyone's rivalry game is tough, hence the reason they have become rivalries.
