There are rumors going around that the big 12 will try to get Pitt and WVA to join, I don't think that will happen.
Would make things more interesting if it did. There are rumors going around that the big 12 will try to get Pitt and WVA to join, I don't think that will happen.

I can't either. The Big XII is not a good fit for either school.I can't see those teams leaving big east basketball.
Because in someone's infinate wisdom, they decided to put the "Cowboy's Classic" on at the same time as the "ChickfilA Kickoff Game".Why in the world did ESPN spot the BoiseSt/Georgia game on the same time as the LSU game is beyond me..thats just stupid so I'll be flippin back and forth watching both.

So don't blame the network, blame Jerry Jones's wallet.
1. Oregon vs. LSU at Cowboys Stadium (Sept. 3, ABC, 8:00 p.m. ET): Because SEC people love to say the Pac-12 is soft, and everybody else loves to see an SEC team get challenged. Why ESPN scheduled this game against Georgia-Boise State -- another intriguing bragging rights game -- remains baffling.
Aww a fresh thread for a fresh year!! Ain't it great!!
I have to say I'm impressed with how good FSU looks this year and pulling for them to go undefeated up to the ACC Champ game when they may even play a undefeated Virginia Tech team... would make for a great send off to the National Championship for either team!!
Pre-season rankings look somewhat solid but I see a few teams dropping out of the top 10 fast. Why in the world did ESPN spot the BoiseSt/Georgia game on the same time as the LSU game is beyond me..thats just stupid so I'll be flippin back and forth watching both.
Then Staples need to open a history book then. The Chickfila kickoff classic has been on the first Saturday night at 8pm since it started in '08 (so in effect, the game was scheduled 5 years ago). The Cowboy Classic started only last year.According to Staples on this article it was ESPN whom scheduled it which seems to be AFTER the LSU game was setup.
Nice video!
Welcome back .....
Seems you left us after VaTech got beat last year .....
Actually you stuck around till Va Tech was no longer worth shouting about.

Duran Carter finally got cleared, and enrolled at Bama yesterday.
I like his size, and his pedigree obviously, but that does not a good player make.
The coaches think he has promise.
What say you? I know alot can change since he was at OSU, but your impressions with his on the field ability given your exposure?
Texas A&M has notified the Big 12 it will withdraw from the conference, according to a newspaper report.
The New York Times said in a story posted on its website Monday night that Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin sent a letter to Missouri Chancellor and Big 12 board chairman Brady Deaton to inform the league it was leaving. The report cited two unidentified college officials with direct knowledge of the decision.
University spokesman Jason Cook did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment late Monday night.
...and so it begins...
1) Does the Bevo9 retaliate? SMU (maybe)?
2) Does the SEC take #14? (all sorts in play, WVU, FSU, who knows).
You can chat about the possibilities ad nauseum.
Did the SEC ever extend an invitation to the Aggies?...and so it begins...
