NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

tell you what
we'll take your punter and you can have our secondary that couldn't cover a person with half a leg
No thanks. I've seen plenty of defenses like that at UNC. Now we've actually got a good one, and we won anyway, no thanks to our sorry punter.

meathead, you HAVE to be encouraged by Mallett's performance tonight- nearly 400 yards and 5 touchdowns!

I think they could make things very interesting for Florida when they travel to Fayetteville.

Could the SEC now have 1 and 3rd?? I still think Ole Miss is the better team then Alabama but we shall see. With BYU Dropping USC dropping that means some big changes in the polls.. My next top Ten.

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama (Id prefer Ole Miss but they will not jump them)
4. Ole Miss
5. Penn State
6. CAL
7. LSU
8. Boise
9. Ohio State
10. OK Sooners

FLAs defense is WAY better then GA's defense. Watch how The razorbacks do next week against Bama and that will give you a good prelude to what will come when they play FLA. Bamas defense is close to as good as FLA's

They have to go to Alabama next week. Ouch! They get Florida later. All Arkansas can hope for is that Florida takes it easy like they did today against Tennessee. Otherwise Tebow might have 500 all purpose yards against them.

Auburn has 41 points tonight.

For a team that I ripped all the time last year for their weak offense, they're looking a lot better with the new coach and coordinator.

I have to tip my hat to the Tigers- they are proving me wrong.

This is what I pointed out in the overrated thread. In recent years, USC is notorious for losing to the "little" guy as this author puts it.

But, what this guy fails to talk about is that year after year, USC has won the bowl game. Why is there no credit for that in his article? I guess cause they lost to Vince Young in one of the greatest comebacks in bowl history, IMO. That guy was incredible in that game.

OSU on the other hand, that's another story. Same for most of the big ten in bcs bowl games. The big ten story has been over and over and over, it's old and worn out. Time to tear down someone else for a change.

Let's just see if they forget how good a coach and players USC has, put them in a different light for a change and see what they do?

You know what I see here? A young qb or two who isn't quite gelled into the system, a team who is younger as a whole and doesn't seem to be there yet. I think anyone who underestimates these guys is in store for a rude awakening.

LSU wins 31-3.

Was THAT a performance that McCoy can feel good about?
Not really. The defense looked better, but we're talking about ULL. LSU's starting QB is extremely erratic and lacks touch. QB and receivers are often out of sync, especially on the long ball. Their Oline is just weak. LSU has excellent running backs in Scott and Williams, yet the Oline can't open holes to get the running game going at all it seems. This won't cut it against the likes of Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama for sure. I doubt it will cut it against Auburn and Arkansas. I' m a little worried about starting SEC play, gotta say. :(

But it's only football. No sweat of my back. Geaux Tigers! :D

Kentucky just picked off a Louisville pass nearing the redzone with 1:56 left in the game. KU up on UL 31 to 27.

Wow, that was way too close of a game for my taste. I hope that isn't a precursor for next week.

I think I am all for getting rid of the AP polls .....

Ohio State rolls, D plays great, Offense plays great, they win 38-0 and LOSE 2 SPOTS in the POLLS

This is the biggest piece of BS I have ever seen.

CLEARLY there is a BIAS that they don't want OSU anywhere's near the top 8.

They should have at LEAST moved up to # 9 TWO TOP TEN TEAMS LOST and the number 11 TEAMS wins and DROPS.

What kind of sh*T is that.

Q. What do they have to do to move up with the teams on thier schedule ?

Miami wins TWO games and moves from somewhere outside the top 25 to 9 ?

What a joke these polls are this year already.
Another reason why lots of people hate schools like them and ND , they win a game and jump from no where to the top while others do thier job and get dissed.

I think the reasoning of the current AP poll is that Miami beat FSU who beat BYU and Washington beat USC who beat tOSU so that is why tOSU dropped in the ranking and why Miami surged into the top 10.
